Day Receiving Coordinator/Clerk

Hours: 5am- 1:30pm
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Cash-Wa Distributing, a Division of Performance Food Group (PFG), is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Receiving Clerk to support our warehouse receiving operations. This role is essential in ensuring inbound shipments are accurately documented, vendor discrepancies are processed correctly, and receiving records remain organized and up to date.

Essential Responsibilities

• Enter and process vendor discrepancies identified from Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Perform accurate data entry related to receiving and inventory transactions.
• Prepare reports and documentation to support warehouse operations and management.
• Schedule inbound receiving appointments and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Maintain receiving files, records, and supporting documentation.
• Communicate professionally with vendors, drivers, customers, and internal team members.
• Research and resolve receiving discrepancies and documentation issues.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to warehouse leadership.
• Order and maintain department office supplies.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications

Required

• One to three years of administrative, clerical, receiving, warehouse, transportation, or related experience.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Understand and interpret Bills of Lading, receiving documents, and transportation and warehouse paperwork.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled at manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Experience in foodservice, warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
• Prior experience handling bill of lading documentation and vendor claims.
• Familiarity with warehouse management or inventory systems.

Physical Requirements

• Sit for extended periods while using a computer.
• Frequent standing and walking within a warehouse environment.
• Perform repetitive data entry and paperwork processing.
• Communicate effectively with employees, drivers, and vendors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
• Good verbal, written and phone communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to speak, read and write English as it relates to job function and safety
• Basic computer experience; willing to learn new applications
• Good organizational skills, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Willing to work toward and help achieve team goals as presented by management
