A full-time pharmacist opportunity is available at a 50-bed rehabilitation hospital in the Sacramento, CA area. This role offers the potential to transition from contract to permanent employment and starts within approximately 2-3 weeks. The position is well-suited for professionals with hospital pharmacy experience who hold a California pharmacist license and demonstrate a strong, positive attitude toward patient care and teamwork.

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Order verification to ensure accuracy and safety in medication dispensing
• Supervising pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Managing pharmacokinetic services to optimize medication dosing and patient outcomes
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to support patient rehabilitation and recovery

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in a rehabilitation or similar setting
• Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively supervise staff and coordinate with medical professionals
