Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Edmonds, Washington. This position entails providing specialized perioperative patient care within a community hospital setting. The role involves circulating and scrubbing in various surgical specialties, with a focus on orthopedic, spine, vascular, ENT, and general surgeries, supporting outpatient and inpatient procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: 4X10 Days, Call required around 48-56 hours per 6 week schedule, typically 6-7 eight-hour shifts, with no weekends
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Experience & Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of OR experience, proficiency in orthopedic and spine procedures, WA state nursing license mandatory, ability to scrub proficiently in multiple surgical specialties, minimum of 0 years of experience
• Additional Experience: Circulating in ENT, General Surgery, Total joints, Neuro/Spine, OB/GYN, Ortho, Plastics, Post-op, Pre-op; scrub in Vascular surgery; no CVOR, neuro, robotics required
• Unit & Equipment Details: 8-bed inpatient/outpatient unit; EPIC electronic medical record system is a hard stop requirement; no specialty certifications required but preferred; flexible shift options (8/10/12 hours) with start times at 7am, 9am, 11am, or 3pm
• Patient Population: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients; approximately 40% inpatient and 60% outpatient surgical cases
