Analyzes, develops and evaluates systems. Improves and maintains current systems or creates brand new projects. Designs and drafts blueprints, visits systems in the field and manages projects. Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment. Required Qualifications Required education and experience: Associate’s Degree and 5‑7 years’ experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications Preferred education and experience: Bachelor’s Degree Experienced with the following: Proficient in the use of the latest Creo 10.0 and above, associated CAD file management (Intralink/Windchill) and other applicable hardware and software to perform in position Awareness of latest industry standards as it relates to model based design Able to manage priorities and complete tasks in accordance with project requirements and milestones Able to discuss technical issues and communicate effectively with engineers, designers, management and other functions Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Critical thinking. Analytical thinking. Problem solving skills. Mathematical skills. Computer skills. Technical expertise. High understanding of basic engineering, design and drafting concepts; lead design experience a plus. Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. Requires regular movement throughout GD‑OTS facilities. May need to stand for long periods of time. Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery. This position is Safety‑Sensitive. Pay Range (USD) $77,140.00 - $143,260.00 Pay Transparency Statement The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position.
