Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead complex network implementations while ensuring the stability and maintenance of existing infrastructure. Provide technical solutions and mentor junior engineers in network-related tasks. Conduct network surveys and documentation to support infrastructure planning. Analyze customer requirements and design technical solutions to meet their needs. Design and implement advanced network configurations to optimize performance. Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical network issues and provide rapid resolutions. Evaluate emerging technologies for potential network enhancements and improvements. Monitor the work quality of junior engineers and provide guidance and feedback. Participate in technical design reviews to ensure project alignment with best practices. Manage local implementation teams, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to specification.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Five (5) years enterprise networking Experience with advanced LAN implementation Advanced LAN implementation experience Expertise in complex network troubleshooting Proven team leadership capabilities Proficiency in technical documentation Skilled in analyzing customer requirements Ability to evaluate and recommend technology solutions Must have an active Secret clearance

CERTIFICATIONS

CCNP or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
