Senior Payroll Tax Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Analyst to join their team. As a Senior Payroll Tax Analyst, you will be part of the Payroll Department supporting the Payroll Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Senior Payroll Tax Analyst Job Type: Contract to Hire Location: Remote (US Based ONLY) (Hybrid option available for local Fox Valley, WI candidate) Pay Range: $45-$60 per hour - based on level of experience. (May be negotiable for the right candidate.) What's the Job? Ensure payroll tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions by staying updated on relevant laws and regulations. Coordinate with payroll vendors to facilitate accurate tax filings, payments, and responses to inquiries. Perform reconciliations to verify the accuracy of tax payments, filings, and ledger activities. Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements for payroll tax operations. Support audit activities by providing necessary data and resolving discrepancies efficiently. What's Needed? Extensive payroll tax knowledge and experience supporting U.S. payroll operations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Proficiency with ADP Smart Compliance REQUIRED; Oracle Payroll experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Prior experience in a fast-paced environment managing multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
