(Scroll down after clicking this link) Qualifications Education/Certification Master's degree in a related field Valid Texas teaching certificate-School Counselor OR Licensed Professional Counselor - LPC, as well as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Master Social Worker- LMSW Experience Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience with demonstrated student success as measured by district standards (e.g., STAAR, District Benchmarks, Curriculum Assessments, etc.). Special Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of evidence-based practices in school safety, crisis intervention, and behavior management Ability to plan and provide small group intervention for students identified as at-risk Assist teachers in working with at-risk students Compile, maintain, and file reports and records of programsCoordinate, implement, and monitor at-risk programs Ability to analyze campus data Demonstrated leadership skills at the campus level Serve as a resource for classroom teachers with strategies, plans, and materials Provide staff development on campus #J-18808-Ljbffr Garland Independent School District
