JOB TITLE: Receptionist
- Assist with NEIT’s open houses and other events, as needed
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

ACCOUNTABILITY: Reports to the Director of Admissions
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Receptionist is located in the reception area for NEIT’s leadership team and serves as a welcoming and professional point of contact for all who arrive for meetings and other appointments with those individuals. In addition, the Receptionist answers a multiline phone for incoming calls made to offices throughout NEIT and occasionally prepares packages for mailing.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Greet and welcome individuals in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage incoming calls; screen and direct them to appropriate personnel
- Always manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Provide administrative support to senior leadership as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
- A minimum of an associate’s degree
- Two–five years of experience in reception and/or administrative support preferred
