About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 25 Weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Ability to float to various units and departments - Completed references at time of submission Description: This is a float pool position, not unit-based. Registered Nurses may float to all required units and departments as needed. Candidates must have the ability to manage various patient conditions. Experience in critical care nursing is essential, with a preference for variety in acute care experience. Knowledge of Epic charting system is preferred. Essential skills include managing ventilated patients, blood product administration, and central line care. Candidates should be familiar with monitoring and interpreting lab values and EKGs. Recognition and management of acute and chronic health conditions are required. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary for effective patient care. All candidates must comply with vaccination requirements.
