Neurologist Physician

Job Overview:

This position seeks a Board Certified or Eligible Neurologist to provide comprehensive neurological care within a healthcare system serving Veterans.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver neurological services in outpatient, inpatient, and consult settings, including virtual clinics.
• Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records.
• Perform neurologic procedures such as NCS/EMG, EEG interpretation, and botox administration, based on training and privileges.
• Manage all aspects of neurological care for assigned patients.
• Respond to emergency department calls as needed.
• Supervise and teach neurology residents and medical students during rotations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification or eligibility in neurology.
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient neurology, with a focus on stroke management.
• Interest or additional training in vascular neurology is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.

Additional Details:

The role offers an annual salary of $275,000 - $300,000, with a work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. It includes teaching responsibilities in a clinical and academic environment, with opportunities for research and professional growth in a community near Los Angeles, featuring a small-town setting with access to beaches, mountains, and deserts.
