Hematology/Oncology Physician (MD/DO) - UNC Health Johnston - Smithfield NC

UNC Health is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician to join the COC-accredited oncology program at UNC Health Johnston in Smithfield North Carolina. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide highquality patientcentered oncology care in a closeknit community setting while remaining connected with UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center one of the nations leading NCIdesignated cancer centers.

Required Qualifications

• MD DO or equivalent
• Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology

Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of medicine. Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff including meeting the Board Certification requirements.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
MD;DEA
BLS
Professional Experience Requirements:
Prefer prior experience in Oncology.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.

REASONING ABILITY

High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS

North Carolina Medical License DEA License BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in area of specialty.
