Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Location: San Antonio, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 1100-2300 (Day Shift)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the emergency setting, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Perform emergency assessments and interventions on patients.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Maintain accurate medical records using Meditech EMR.
Collaborate with staff and medical team to develop and implement care plans.
Stay informed about the latest practices and protocols in emergency medicine.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

At least 2 years of ER experience is required.
BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, CPI certifications are mandatory.
Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.
FSED (Freestanding Emergency Department) experience is a plus.
