Overview Internal Medicine Residency Program Director at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, New Jersey Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Board Certified Internist to serve as the Internal Medicine Residency Program Director and Staff Physician at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician with a passion for medical education to lead and shape the next generation of internists. Responsibilities Oversee and manage all aspects of the Internal Medicine Residency Program while ensuring compliance with ACGME accreditation standards. Develop and implement curriculum. Supervise and mentor residents and medical students. Oversee resident recruitment and evaluation. Oversee departmental Grand Rounds and CME programs. Champion patient quality and safety initiatives within the residency program. Represent the Department of Medicine on the Academic Affairs Committee. Provide compassionate and effective patient care. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. The minimum base salary for this position is $278,656. Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty. Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
