Our client is on the far east side of Des Moines is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing a variety of maintenance tasks. If you have a knack for fixing things and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.- Mixers, hoppers, blenders, conveyors are the primary equipment needs
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and efficiency.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
