Refrigeration Tech Details:
- Contract to hire position
- $28.00 / annually
- Third shift
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia-based equipment
- Perform daily system checks and preventative maintenance on compressors, condensers, and boilers
- Lead and support the refrigeration team in resolving operational issues
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and GMP standards
- Inspect, clean, and repair plant systems while managing parts and supply needs
Refrigeration Tech Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and lead within a team environment
- Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and working overtime as needed
