Houston TX Hot Chicken is looking for an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team at our Camelback, Arizona location.

What You'll Do

As the Assistant General Manager, you'll work directly alongside the General Manager to oversee the restaurant's daily operations while leading and developing an outstanding team.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the restaurant
• Leading Front of House and Back of House teams during all dayparts
• Delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable guest experiences
• Coaching, developing, and holding team members accountable to Houston TX Hot Chicken standards
• Managing labor, food cost, and operational efficiency
• Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
• Ensuring brand standards are consistently executed
• Opening and closing the restaurant as needed
• Assisting with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and training new team members
• Supporting inventory management, ordering, and restaurant profitability
• Creating a positive, energetic, and accountability-driven culture

Qualifications

• Current ServSafe Manager Certification (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience
• High-volume restaurant experience preferred
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
• Ability to lead by example with a positive attitude
• Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
