Director, Business Development

Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies aligned with organizational objectives to drive growth and profitability Build and maintain strategic partnerships, managing mutual value propositions and mitigating associated risks Lead sales strategy development, oversee key account management, and negotiate contracts Analyze financial performance, including profit and loss, to inform resource allocation and budget adjustments Guide program development and implementation with project teams Foster talent development through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning Promote ethical standards and integrity across business practices and stakeholder interactions Lead cross-functional collaboration and promote customer-centric solutions Advance business goals and deliver sustainable value across varied markets and stakeholder groups Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 5 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in those areas Proven experience in business development and strategic partnership management within complex organizations Expertise developing and executing business strategies that drive growth and profitability Demonstrated ability to manage profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities and optimize financial performance Skilled in risk mitigation and issue resolution Proficiency in sales management, forecasting, and maintaining robust sales pipelines Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools Exceptional leadership and communication skills Preferred: experience in sales, planning and managing budgets, supervisory experience, and working with cross-functional teams Preferred: Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or related field Must comply with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in developing and executing business strategies that drive growth and profitability, alongside strong leadership in managing profit and loss responsibilities and fostering strategic partnerships.
