Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a HVAC Service Technician that will be responsible for performing inspections, diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance of commercial HVAC systems.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Diagnose HVAC system performance through observation, testing, and setup based on trade/position and equipment type/size:
o Split systems up to 120 tons, mini split systems, 3 tons/multizone
o VRV heat pump/recovery, RTUS up to 150+ tons, WSHP up to 120 tons
o Self-contained systems, CRAC units, air/water cooled chillers
o Air-side, AHUs, EFs, pumps, and piping
• Coordinate work processes on large projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project specifications and deadlines.
• Perform disassembly and reassembly of commercial and residential equipment for troubleshooting and planned maintenance per service agreements, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Proficiently operate a range of hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to diagnose and maintain HVAC systems effectively.
