Physical Therapist Assistant

A well-established and thriving rehabilitation clinic is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to collaborate with the Physical Therapy Department. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on patient care while exhibiting strong communication skills when engaging with families. Job Responsibilities: Utilize knowledge gained through academic coursework, training, and hands-on experience to support patient and family needs. Display proficiency in executing treatment plans and assess their effectiveness, adjusting as instructed by the Physical Therapist. Assist in appropriate therapies, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and relevance of care while offering feedback to the department supervisor. Operate therapy equipment, including treatment tables, exercise machines, mobility aids, wheelchairs, pulley systems, weights, and other tools commonly used in Physical Therapy. Participate in HIPAA training and compliance programs, adhering to federal privacy and security regulations under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996. Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Currently licensed or eligible for licensure in Wyoming. CPR certification. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to satisfy all automobile insurance provider requirements. Willingness to attend educational seminars on billing, insurance, reimbursements, Medicare, and other relevant topics. Additional Notes: Comprehensive benefits package available. Salary range: $67,000 – $89,000 per year.
