\nRESPONSIBILITY Lead and manage inventory operations, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely flow of materials to support production. Provide strong leadership to cross-functional teams across two shifts, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence in inventory control and material availability.
\n \nPRINCIPAL DUTIES:
\n \nInventory Oversight & Accuracy
\n· Ensure precise verification and receipt of incoming materials, including purchase order reconciliation and visual inspection for quantity and condition.
\n· Collaborate closely with Purchasing to resolve discrepancies and maintain inventory integrity.
\n \nCycle Count Management
\n· Co-lead daily cycle counting activities, analyze results, and drive corrective action plans through root cause analysis.
\n· Oversee ERP inventory transactions to ensure alignment between physical and system inventory.
\n \nMaterial Flow Coordination
\n· Direct the picking, staging, and transfer of materials to production multiple times daily.
\n· Monitor and communicate shortages proactively, driving continuous improvement in material flow and availability.
\n \nInventory Environment & Safety
\n· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inventory environment, minimizing component damage and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
\n \nInventory Optimization
\n· Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and address overstock, excess, and obsolete inventory.
\n· Support corporate goals by maintaining inventory value within target thresholds.
\n \nPerformance Reporting
\n· Deliver weekly reports on key inventory metrics including inventory value, cycle count accuracy, and Days Inventory on Hand (DIOH).
\n· Use data to inform decisions and drive accountability.
\n \nAnnual Physical Inventory
\n· Plan and execute the annual physical inventory, ensuring accuracy, team coordination, and minimal disruption to operations.
\n \nREQUIREMENTS:
\n \n· Bachelor’s Degree or 4–6 years of experience in Inventory Control and Warehouse Operations within a manufacturing environment (preferred).
\n· Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams across multiple shifts.
\n· Proficiency in ERP systems (AS400 preferred).
\n· Strong analytical skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
\n· Experience with Power BI or Lean DNA is a plus.
\n· Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $67,900.00 - 101,900.00 USD Annual (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
