Job Title: Test Engineering Technician (Entry-Level)

Pay Rate: $23.50/hour
Shift: Sunday 8:15 PM start; Monday–Thursday 11:45 PM – 5:30 AM (overnight shift)

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineering Technician to support and maintain test systems used in the production of consumer electronics. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their engineering or technical career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain test systems used on the production line for consumer electronics
• Troubleshoot test systems, identify root causes, and implement solutions
• Analyze technical requirements and assess effort related to test systems and products
• Create and maintain engineering documentation such as schematics, diagnostics, flowcharts, and status reports
• Configure and calibrate test systems
• Monitor tester performance and implement improvements
• Report software bugs to the development team
• Install and upgrade software and hardware on test systems as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
• 0–2 years of experience in test engineering or a production/shop floor environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with a logical, analytical approach
• Basic knowledge of programming or systems such as C, C#, C++, Python, JTAG, CLI, or Linux
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow up on tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional communication skills when interacting with internal teams and customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Android and/or iOS device testing
