Overview Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health opened its doors this April as the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 25 years. It offers 136 beds (expandable to 184), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion, onsite 550‑car parking, and a helipad for emergency transport. Position Summary Physical Therapist (Per Diem / PRN) Responsibilities Provide physical therapy services in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Respond effectively to new and changing work assignments. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. Current D.C. Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum 1 year of experience, acute care setting preferred. Skills Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities.
