RN - Rehab

Registered Nurse - Pediatric and Adult Acute Rehabilitation

This is a 13-week contract position.

36 hours per week, Day/Eve/Night shifts, 8- and 12-hour shifts, including holidays and weekends as per unit policy.

Join our interdisciplinary team in the Pediatric and Adult Acute Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine department. This exciting opportunity allows you to work with a diverse patient population including those recovering from Stroke, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Trauma, Orthopedic issues, Neuro conditions, Oncology treatments, Solid Organ Transplants, and Heart Failure. You will provide both clinical and emotional support to patients and their families as they work towards regaining independence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care to pediatric and adult patients in acute rehabilitation.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments and discharge planning.
• Ensure adherence to safety and clinical guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Two (2) years of Med Surg experience.
• New York State RN License required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Recent pediatric experience preferred.
