Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
Pay Rate: $30-$32/hour (based on experience)

Job Description:

The Human Resources Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring an exceptional employee experience while supporting essential HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. This role serves as a trusted resource for employees and leaders while helping the organization attract, develop, and retain top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing, interviewing, background checks, and onboarding.
• Assist with the administration of compensation, benefits, leave programs, and other HR initiatives.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
• Support employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, and training initiatives.
• Participate in investigations, disciplinary processes, and other sensitive employee matters as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and organizational policies.
• Monitor HR trends, employment law updates, and best practices to support continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of Human Resources experience, preferably within a nonprofit, healthcare, social services, or mission-driven environment.
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or another HR certification is preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, and EEO regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms, including ADP Workforce Now.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and navigate organizational facilities as needed.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.
