Position Summary We are seeking to hire an experienced Lead Energy Engineer in our Woodbridge, N.J. office, with 5+ years' experience in the energy sector, strong technical competency, and the ability to lead projects from auditing through implementation. Essential Job Functions Lead and execute ASHRAE Level I-III energy audits. Conduct onsite inspections, data collection and measurement and verification. Develop detailed engineering analyses and ECM calculations. Provide design support and review technical drawings. Coordinate project activities with clients and contractors. Prepare technical reports, proposals and documentation. Mentor junior engineers for growth and development. Qualifications Bachelors or Master's degree in relevant engineering field. Certified Energy Manager (CEM) is required. Strong knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, and controls systems and energy codes. Must reside in New Jersey. Valid New Jersey Driver's License is required. PE desired or in progress. Physical Abilities Occasionally required to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; use hands to finger, grasp, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; push or pull; talk and hear; use repetitive motions. Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must have visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading and visual inspections of site plans.
