Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Missouri Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation required. This includes evaluations and treatment experience in hospital or inpatient rehab settings.
Experience with safe patient handling equipment and standard rehabilitation equipment.
Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems preferred.
Ability to work scheduled shifts and occasional floating between acute care and rehab units as needed.
Must wear facility-required eggplant colored scrubs.

Assignment Details

Facility type: Hospital.
Unit: Physical Therapy supporting both acute care and inpatient rehab (285 acute care beds, 16 inpatient rehab beds).
Shift name: Days.
Shift hours: 0700-1500.
Scheduling: Five 8-hour days, Monday through Friday. One weekend every six weeks with ability to flex days when working the weekend.
Patient ratio guidance: approximately 12:1.
Unit support: Rehab tech available; unit secretarial support.
On-call: Not applicable.
Floating: May be required to cover both acute and rehab areas.
