Delivery Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a Class A Delivery Driver located near our North Portland yard to deliver meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies. The driver will be an essential member of the US Foods® team, providing excellent customer service while meeting scheduled delivery times and maintaining productivity. Schedule 1st Shift. Schedules may include weekends, Monday through Saturday availability, early morning starts, and an average of 4–5 days per week. Some overnight routes may be required. Responsibilities Deliver orders on schedule to meet delivery times and keep productivity high. Unload products using a hand truck and place items in the customer’s storage area. Perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds. Make frequent stops during a work shift. Deliver products in inclement weather conditions. Verify delivery of items with customers. Collect money (cash or checks) where required. Provide best‑in‑class customer service at all times. Qualifications At least 21 years of age. Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with the necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications. High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required. No more than two convictions in the past two years for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years. Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry. Must be able to pass a DOT physical. Compensation Base rate of $31.44 to $34.93 per hour, with overtime compensation as applicable.
