If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to work as a Program Specialist/Data Analyst!Working as a Program Specialist/Data Analyst in the Corrections Recovery Unit, you will provide efficient administrative and clerical support to the department. Your role will specifically focus on the Police Mental Health Collaboration (PMHC) through Bureau of Justice Administration (BJA) funding. You will be responsible for implementation of assigned tasks specific to the PMHC, including obtaining data collection, running reports, and developing/maintaining tracking mechanisms including database administration and file administration for recordkeeping and information retrieval as directed. You will create, maintain, and update database queries to facilitate reporting requirements, assist in database administration, and serve as a key process and system resource including the development or reporting templates. You should understand existing data models and assist in developing new data models as well as compiling reports into simple and understandable format for management of the PMHC. You will provide clerical support for assigned meetings including preparing and disseminating agendas, recording/taking minutes, maintaining historical records, and facility preparation. This position will be knowledgeable about and actively support 1) culturally competent, recovery-based practices, 2) person-centered planning as a shared decision-making process with the individual, who defines his or her own life goals and is assisted in developing a unique path toward those goals, and 3) a trauma-informed culture to aid consumers in their recovery process. This is a grant-funded position currently funded through September 2024.Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or other relevant field and three years' experience in related field working with target population preferred. Ability to support the confidential nature of developmental disability, mental health, and substance abuse services. Excellent communications skills, interpersonal and human relation skills. Advanced computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and e-mail.
