Assistant Production Supervisor

Location: Clifton Springs, NY
Pay Range: $22.00–$28.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, team-oriented Assistant Production Supervisor to support daily operations. Working closely with the Production Supervisor, you will help ensure safe, efficient production while meeting quality standards, production goals, and customer delivery requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader looking to grow their manufacturing career, develop leadership skills, and work toward becoming a Production Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with production scheduling, employee assignments, and daily workflow.
• Support machine setups, monitor equipment and tooling, and help resolve production issues.
• Promote workplace safety and ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
• Monitor production performance, quality, and departmental KPIs.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping, labor reporting, material usage, and production transactions.
• Inspect production parts and maintain required quality documentation.
• Support Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and employee development initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to maintain a safe, productive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of manufacturing or production experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn Syteline and Shop-Trak.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, quality standards, SPC, and workplace safety.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
