Position Summary

The Speech Therapist assesses patients and develops an age appropriate treatment plan based on functional abilities. S/he adheres to the Standards of Speech Therapy Practice.

Responsibilities

Assessment of patients and development treatment plans

Provides Patient Treatment

Collaborates with Rehab Team members

Ability to assess and develop treatment plan

Assists with Department Function

Qualifications

Education:

• Masters Degree

Experience:

• 0-2 yrs

License:

• SPEECH PATHOLOGIST

Certifications:

• BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)

About the Team

St. Marys Medical Center (SMMC), part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 420-bed acute care hospital in West Palm Beach. The hospital has been serving Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast for more than 80 years. SMMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a state-designated Pediatric Trauma Referral Center, certified Comprehensive Stoke Center, and has a level III NICU.
