Radiology Technologist

Radiological Technologist provides quality patient care by proficiently performing radiology exams to support accurate interpretations by Radiologists. They are responsible for setting up procedures, operating radiographic equipment, assisting radiologists, and conducting quality control and reporting tasks. The role involves actively contributing ideas to the growth and development of the Diagnostic Imaging department and ensuring adherence to safety and technical standards. Qualifications & Skills Two years of clinical radiologic technology training or equivalent experience. Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire. National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Experience with radiographic procedures; CT experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities Perform radiological procedures with precision and safety. Assist radiologists during imaging processes. Conduct quality control and reporting tasks. Identify and communicate areas for improvement within the department. Participate in departmental development and team collaboration.
