Introduction Our client is a hospital hiring for a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian. This is a growing mixed animal practice seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian with experience in small animal medicine, with the opportunity to also work with equine and large animal patients. The hospital provides care for small animals, equine, and large animal species. Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The role is offered on a full-time basis, with a schedule designed to support work-life balance, including a consistent weekday off and flexible scheduling. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will deliver a varied caseload including routine wellness care, preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, emergency services, and end-of-life care. Clinical responsibilities may also include chiropractic care, stem cell therapy, and herd health management, depending on interests and experience. The role is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians, with structured, one-on-one mentorship and a supportive teaching environment built into the culture. Practice Details The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, in-house laboratory capabilities, laser therapy, ultrasound, EKG, advanced surgical equipment, and cloud-based practice management software. Facilities include a haul-in space for large animal and equine cases, allowing procedures and routine care to be performed on-site. Services offered range from wellness care, vaccinations, puppy and kitten care, senior care, surgery, and dental care to emergency services, chiropractic care, stem cell therapy, and large animal and equine services. The practice culture is collaborative, low-stress, and mentorship-focused, with an emphasis on quality medicine and sustainable work-life balance. Team The hospital team includes three DVMs supported by a skilled and experienced support staff. Each doctor is paired with a dedicated technician, with additional team members providing floating support.
