Medical Science Liaison (East Coast)

Abbott Point of Care seeks a Medical Science Liaison to serve as the scientific expert for point-of-care diagnostic solutions across the eastern United States. This field-based role involves building relationships with key opinion leaders, delivering clinical education, and supporting research collaborations.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with national and regional key opinion leaders and healthcare organizations
- Lead scientific discussions and deliver clinical education on point-of-care products
- Support research collaborations, publications, advisory boards, and scientific exchange initiatives
- Present scientific and clinical data at conferences, meetings, and educational events
- Gather field-based medical insights to inform strategic priorities and develop scientific materials
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of clinical or medical affairs experience, preferably in medical device industry
- Understanding of clinical laboratory principles, in vitro diagnostic design, and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's degree (ideally in a related field)
- Ability to travel 75% within a multi-state territory
- Advanced degree (master's, PhD, MD, or equivalent) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals
- Strong scientific communication and presentation skills
Compensation: $113,300–$226,700 base
