Sage 100 Contractor Project Accountant

Are you a detail-driven accounting professional with a passion for construction projects? We are seeking a dynamic Project Accountant to join our team and play a crucial role in driving financial success across our exciting portfolio of construction projects. What You’ll Do Drive Financial Excellence : Manage monthly job billings and subcontractor waivers with precision. Project Set-Up : Establish new projects in our accounting software and maintain accuracy with change order and budget updates. Ensure Compliance : Keep subcontractor and GC insurance current for each new project and assist project managers with sending out purchase orders and Master Vendor Agreements. Collaborate on Compliance : Work closely with subcontractors to ensure compliance with payroll and specific contract requirements, including IDOL/LCP Tracker entries. Support Project Teams : Provide guidance to project managers and subcontractors on financial matters and compliance. What We’re Looking For Construction Accounting Experience : 3–5 years in a construction accounting role. Tech‑Savvy : Familiarity with Ebuilder and Office 365. Experience with Procore is a plus, or a willingness to learn. Software Skills : Experience with Sage 100 Contractor or similar accounting software is essential.
