This is a strong opportunity for a Project Manager, or a Senior Project Engineer or APM ready for the full seat, who wants to run highway and bridge work for a stable employer with steady work in Southwest Florida. You'll own your projects from start to closeout on cost, schedule, subcontracts and the owner relationship, much of it FDOT work. SW Florida locals are great, and candidates ready to relocate are welcome.What You'll Be Responsible ForOwn the project budget, schedule and monthly cost forecastLead the project team of engineers, APMs and field superintendentsBuy out the job and manage subcontracts, purchase orders and suppliersRun monthly pay estimates, change orders and claims with FDOT and the CEIManage submittals, RFIs and project documentation through closeoutPlan the work with the superintendents and hold the scheduleKeep permits, licenses and contract requirements currentDrive safety and quality on every jobReport progress and risk to the owner and senior leadershipWhat We're Looking For7+ years on heavy civil highway, bridge or DOT projects, with time as a Project Manager or a senior APM running the jobFDOT project experienceFour year degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Construction ScienceStrong on budgets, forecasts, pay estimates and change ordersClear communicator with owners, inspectors and the fieldBridge experience is a plusPrimavera P6 or HCSS is a plusBased in SW Florida or ready to relocate to NaplesWhy This Role Is Worth a ConversationFull time role with an established heavy civil builder, not a one project hireFull benefits packageSteady FDOT highway and bridge work in Southwest FloridaRoom to grow with a contractor that has a long track record in FloridaHeavy civil work on the kind of projects that build a career.
