Litigation Responsibilities Conduct legal research and analysis. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials. Handle discovery tasks, including e‑discovery. Assist with case and project management. Support deposition and trial preparation. Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. Training Program Responsibilities Candidates should be enthusiastic about contributing to and expanding a premier litigation training program. Key responsibilities include: Create and refine training program materials, such as slide decks, visual presentations, and workshop content. Implement and manage training initiatives, including weekly “office hours” and writing‑focused development programs. Collaborate with the Litigation Training Council and other internal stakeholders to coordinate initiatives across practice groups and business units. Maintain detailed documentation, timelines, and tracking systems to ensure timely and professional program delivery. Split Responsibilities Non‑billable contributions to the firm’s litigation training program, working closely with a senior New York–based partner. Billable litigation work supporting teams on a range of general litigation matters for firm clients. Qualifications Minimum 7+ years of civil litigation experience (complex civil litigation preferred; criminal or other non‑civil matters welcomed). Strong academic credentials. Excellent writing ability; writing sample required. Highly motivated, collaborative, and detail‑oriented. Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
