The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a plastic surgeon to join the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.

Position Overview

The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery seeks to hire a board certified/eligible plastic surgeon to join our robust comprehensive plastic surgery team. Qualified candidates for this position should have a love of breast and body surgery, have experience with facial trauma, have a willingness to take on challenging wounds and a sincere commitment to growing a successful program in an academic environment. An interest and/or fellowship in burn surgery as we expand our collaboration with the burn team would also be welcomed.

Ohio State's Comprehensive Plastic Surgery Program has 9 dedicated surgeons, multiple advanced practitioners, and significant collaboration with Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Orthopedics, Dermatology and Trauma Surgery.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To provide safe, high quality patient care
• To provide clinical and didactic education to learners of all levels
• To adhere to all other duties and guideline of the Department and The Chair as assigned.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O
• Completion of an accredited Plastic Surgery Residency Program
• Board certification or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery
• Eligible for an Ohio Medical License

Compensation Package:

• Salary: Commensurate with experience level, Bonus, Relocation Assistance
