Registered Nurse

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: EKG interpretation IV start Chest tube management Description: Telemetry unit caring for cardiac and neuro patients. 30 beds currently with 12 overflow scheduled to open. 50 core RNs on staff. Patient ratios are 4:1. Utilizes tele boxes, Welch Allen vital sign machines, and Alaris IV pumps. EMR used is Meditech. Candidates should be quick learners with strong communication skills. Dependability is essential. Typical procedures include receiving patients after heart catheterization, pacemaker insertion, ablation, Watchman procedure, valve repair, and cardioversion. 3-4 weekend shifts required per month with no on-call obligations. Dress code includes variable scrub colors with no visible piercings. The facility is a 404-bed acute care hospital providing comprehensive medical services and is known for care with compassion and kindness. Award-winning facility recognized for excellence in care.
