Feeder Machine Operator

We are seeking a dedicated Feeder Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves completing make-ready at the feeder and delivery sections, taking off completed cartons and stacking them on pallets as a repetitive task. You will assist operations with ink installation, equipment operation, adjustments, tests, and complete required quality checks. Additionally, you will fill in for the assistant press operator when absent, perform housekeeping duties, and other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Complete make-ready at feeder and delivery sections.
• Stack completed cartons on pallets.
• Assist with ink installation, equipment operation, adjustments, and tests.
• Complete required quality checks.
• Fill in for the assistant press operator when absent.
• Perform housekeeping duties and other tasks as assigned.

• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.

• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret bar graphs.
• Capability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret various instructions.

Work Environment

Our facility operates 24/7 with 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, including opportunities for overtime. Current openings are on the 2nd shift from 3 pm to 11 pm, Monday through Friday, which may change to rotating shifts after training. The environment is not climate-controlled, and safety is a priority, requiring steel-toe boots. We provide gloves, ear plugs, and safety glasses to ensure your protection.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenixville, PA.

The pay range for this position is $21.68 - $21.68/hr.
