About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a strategic financial business partner and drive growth, financial discipline, and operational excellence within a rapidly expanding construction organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable financial systems, strengthening cash flow, and providing actionable insights to support business expansion, M&A, and capital strategy. This role demands hands-on collaboration with operations to align financial strategy with field execution, ultimately improving margin and project visibility. Key responsibilities for the CFO include overseeing all finance functions, leading financial planning, forecasting, risk management, and compliance, and building advanced systems and analytics for data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years' progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior finance executive role within construction, development, or similar complex, fast-growing organizations. Deep expertise in construction finance, including WIP, project accounting, and bonding, as well as a strong background in M&A and capital markets, is essential. The role also requires a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, with a CPA or MBA being preferred, and the candidate must be willing to relocate to the Quad Cities or have an on-site presence.
