Senior Manager, Product Management -Authentication Products

Overview Senior Manager of Authentication Products leads a cross‑functional team of product managers and owners to define, launch, and evolve authentication features for Capital One’s global payments network. The role focuses on delivering innovative, customer‑centric solutions that drive business value and improve the overall customer experience. Responsibilities Architect and execute the product vision for authentication products, aligning it with business and technology strategy. Lead the product development lifecycle, from discovery to release, ensuring high quality, timely delivery, and measurable outcomes. Drive business value by identifying and prioritising customer‑centric initiatives that generate revenue, cost savings, or strategic advantage. Improve customer experience through usability research, data analysis, and continuous experimentation. Coordinate dependencies across internal teams, external partners, and vendors, while mitigating risks and resolving complex problems. Empower and mentor product managers and owners to achieve product goals and professional growth. Champion human‑centered design, data‑driven decision making, and cross‑functional teamwork across the organization. Basic Qualifications At least 5 years of product management experience. Current or imminent possession of a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MBA in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or related). Strong technical and business acumen with the ability to recognize patterns and solve complex problems. Preferred Qualifications Experience translating business strategy into consumer‑facing digital products. Track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through analytics‑driven product development. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary ranges by location: McLean, VA – $200,700 to $229,100; Riverwoods, IL – $182,500 to $208,300. Additional performance‑based incentive compensation may include cash bonus and/or long‑term incentives.
