Job Title: RN Circulator Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room (Neuro & General Surgery) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1+ years License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have Skills/Experience: 1 year+ of Neuro-specific experience is needed for this role. Experience with DaVinci Xi robotic surgeries is required. Experience in general surgery, including urology and gynecology, is necessary. Experience with orthopedic surgeries, including scopes and arthroplasty, is preferred. Description: The circulating nurse focuses on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating perioperative patient care. This role acts as a patient advocate at all times. Flexibility in accepting a variety of surgical cases is important. A strong work ethic and the ability to function as a team player are essential. Scrubs will be provided by the facility in the operating room. Any attire other than black scrubs is unacceptable. The position requires participation in on-call rotation, including weekends.
