DutiesPerform a wide variety of complex ultrasound examinations of human patients to aid in the diagnosis of disease or injury.Explain the ultrasound examining process to the patient.Select, sets up, adjusts, and operates ultrasound equipment.Extend and/or modify the procedure to ensure full and accurate information.Train radiologists, physician assistants, students, and other personnel in ultrasound principles, procedures, capabilities, techniques and equipment.Perform operator level maintenance and care of equipment.The ability to take backup call.
