Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 8-Hour Shifts (0600–1430) | Onsite | Call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) during day shift hours
• Respond to on-call requirements as scheduled
• Float to clinically appropriate units as needed, within scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies
• Collaborate with the surgical and cardiovascular care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with unit-specific protocols and standards of care

Required Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Experience in CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience floating to multiple clinical units within a large health system
• Familiarity with cardiovascular and cardiac catheterization procedures
