Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
• At least two years recent experience in the field: Required

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion.
• Collects and analyzes relevant data pertinent to patient health and develops care plans.
• Implements care plans and evaluates progress toward attaining health outcomes.
• Provides health information and educational resources to patients and families.
