Director of Nursing

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team at Green Palms Health and Rehab of St. Marys, a supportive community dedicated to comfort and respect. Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services that meet or exceed regulatory standards

• Develop and implement annual departmental goals, objectives, and budgets in collaboration with the Executive Director and other department heads

• Foster a positive and respectful work environment that promotes staff growth, development, and engagement

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for our residents

• Supervise and evaluate performance of nursing staff, including LPNs, RNs, and caregivers

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, and implement changes as necessary

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Nursing or related field (n/a)

• Minimum of 0 years of experience in a gerontological nursing setting (n/a)

• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in developing and implementing effective strategies and operations

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

• Strong commitment to quality patient care and customer service
