Now Hiring: Kennel Assistant

Sierra Ranch Veterinary Clinic is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Kennel Assistant to join our dedicated veterinary team in Roseville, California.

The Kennel Assistant plays an important role in supporting our veterinarians and technical staff while ensuring the comfort, cleanliness, and well-being of our patients and boarding animals.

• Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting preferred

• Confident and safe animal handling abilities
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Basic knowledge of flea and tick preventatives, medications, and general veterinary care
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• Familiarity with vaccine administration
• Basic understanding of veterinary pharmacology and medical terminology
• Experience obtaining TPRs (temperature, pulse, and respiration) and patient signalments

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care
• Support technician appointments, including nail trims, vaccinations, and anal gland expressions
• Provide daily care for boarding animals, including feeding, walking, and monitoring patients
• Maintain clean and sanitary kennels, cages, treatment areas, and hospital spaces
• Assist with stocking, organizing, and maintaining supplies
• Prepare surgical packs and assist with equipment maintenance and cleaning

Compensation:
• $17.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience

Location: Roseville, CA (On-site Position)
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
