Description: GWW 36 Ratios: 1:2-3 Years of experience: 2 CVICU First-timers accepted: Preferred N; up to manager depending on years of exp. Weekend Req: Yes, every other Certs Req: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS On-call Req? N Float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units? Y Open to accommodating block scheduling? Locals accepted: No - 50-mile radius rule from the main campus (Cape Fear Valley Medical Center) Pending License accepted: N RTO Restrictions: per manager's discretion Guaranteed Hours: call off policy of 2 shifts per 13-week assignment. Once that is met all hours based on contracted shifts are guaranteed. Special Requirements: - Return Staff Policy: Have to be gone for 1 year to return as a traveler. - System has a 2 contract limit (can only extend once) then has to be gone for 6 months to return.

Aliases/nicknames are not permitted. *** RTO (Max 4 days) can only approve 1 holiday Requires 2 years experience State or compact licensure EPIC experience required for all RN specialties Certifications: IR Techs only - must have an ACLS prior to start and must pass EKG Exam Lab Requirement: Laboratory workers must have a diploma or transcript as part of compliance. No exceptions. Local Rules Locals are not accepted within 50 miles of Main campus (Cape Fear Valley Medical Center) References: at least 1 supervisor reference required with submission Candidate may float within hospital or sister campus depending on booking Background and License hits: No hits will be approved that occurred within the last year. Return Staff Policy (gone 1 yr to return as traveler) Extensions: Facility has a 2 contract limit for days and a 3 contract limit for nights. After reaching extension limits, travelers must wait 6 months before being eligible to reapply as a traveler If your traveler is in any of the following specialties, please note they will need to pass an Advanced EKG exam as a part of compliance: ED, Peds ED, Psych ED, ICUs, PACU, RTs, Step Down, Tele, Ms/Tele, HRSH Extensions: Travelers may only extend once if they are on day shift. If they are on night shift they can extend twice. Only exception for this rule is Radiology. Compliance Note: vaccine exemption requests must be sent ASAP to avoid delays. Travelers cannot start with pending approval. Modules: Modules are non-billable, 4-10 hours Modules are completed pre-start
