Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
• 1-2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and support a collaborative acute care team

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Emergency Department patients in a fast-paced ED environment
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Respond quickly to changing patient conditions with sound clinical judgment
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and practice
• Delegate and coordinate patient care priorities appropriately based on staff skill levels
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Support safe, efficient, and compassionate care in a dynamic emergency nursing setting
