Position: Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist

Shift: Days - 8 Hours (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Call Coverage: Minimum of 10 days per month

Location: Within a 60-mile radius of the facility

Job Description

The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist is responsible for operating radiologic equipment in the cardiac catheterization lab. This role involves working collaboratively with a team to provide high-quality patient care while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.

Requirements

• Current certifications by the California Department of Health Services (CRT)
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification is optional

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for radiological procedures.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain patient records and document procedures accurately.
• Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout the process.
